Phil Hickey Jr
I am hoping that you can take 30 minutes to listen to Phil Hickey's speech.  He graduated from our beloved St. Agatha in 1972 then went on to Michigan State.  He became the owner of Cookers, Rio Bravo, and then Dakota Steak house and many other food chains.  His talk is about growing up a Catholic and his faith and what life has taught him. Take a few minutes and listen to his wonderful speech! This presentation was made at the National Hospitality Prayer Breakfast in Chicago during last month's NRA.

WHERE ITEMS FROM ST. AGATHA WENT:

The giant crucifix above the altar of the Church is now at St. Andrew's in Rochester, where Fr. Tom Slowinski is. Also making their new home there is the Tabernacle and the Baptismal Font.

The wall painting (by Mr. Williams, father of Claudia and Gail) of St Agatha that was in the back of the Church is going to Providence Hospital; a new breast cancer research/hospital wing was added and she is on display there.

St. Pricilla's in Livonia has made part of St Agatha her home by using: the large oriental carpet that covered the stairs to the altar, the marble side communion rails and the stations of the cross.

St. Agatha statue that was in the fountain is at St. Robert Bellermine's.

St. Joseph statue that was in the high school courtyard (near the driveways in back) is now at St. Fabian with alumnus Fr. Brian Chabala.
